City Serve 2022 Projects take place Tuesday, May 31st- Saturday, June 4th.
Tuesday
Craft Night
Family Friendly!
Have fun creating art work that will be displayed for the children and families at The Dwelling Place.
You will also be writing/decorating thank you notes for the men and women at our fire stations, police station and EMS.

Building Storage Shelves at Project BEE
Project B focuses on increasing financial equity through their supportive services such as: Emergency shelter, diaper pantry, career closet, basic needs pantry, and so much more.
They are in need of shelves to be able to store all the donated items. You will be able to build these shelving units for them!

Foster Family Car Detailing
Team members will be detailing the car interiors for foster parents and their families.
It is recommended that participating children be 12+ for this service project.

Photography & Videography
Travel around Minot taking pictures/videos of the different projects.
This is an Adults only project

Laundromat Ministry
Doing laundry can be boring and monotonous experience for those doing so at a laundromat. Team members will help brighten those coming in by assisting them as they do their laundry, provide loose change, laundry soap and some wonderful conversation about the love of Jesus.

Tuesday-Wednesday
Oil Change & Car Care Detailing
At the Oil Change & Car Care Detailing, we will serve widows, deployed spouses, and college students. Harley's Arrowhead Cenex mechanics will provide the oil change, fluid, and tire pressure check.
After, we will detail the inside of the vehicle next door at Eagles Wings Community Fellowship Church and be able to have wonderful conversation with the guests.

Student Clean Up at the Zoo
Jr & Senior High students will be able to help with cleaning up the zoo with various activities. Painting, raking, sweeping pathways, outside grounds work, and more!

Parks & Rec Landscaping
Team members will be helping the Minot Parks and Rec department with landscaping in Oak Park.

Flower Cup Decorating & Planting
Family Friendly!
You will be decorating cups and then planting flowers that will be delivered to the staff at Trinity Nursing Home.

Wednesday-Thursday
Sorting Donations at Project BEE
Project B focuses on increasing financial equity through their supportive services such as: Emergency shelter, diaper pantry, career closet, basic needs pantry, and so much more.
There is need to sort through the donations and placing them on the newly built storage shelves at the shelter!

Thursday
Dream Catchers Softball Buddies
The Dream Catchers is a group of over 70 children with disabilities that play sports together. Have an amazing time being a buddy on the field to one of the athletes during one of the three games!
Need to be at least 16 years old to be a Buddy.

Thursday
Dream Catchers Softball Cheering
The Dream Catchers is a group of over 70 children with disabilities that play sports together. Have an amazing and family fun time cheering on the athletes at the Dream Catchers games! You can attend one, two or all three games!

Friday
Foster Family Care Packages
Team members will be assembling welcome baskets for newly licensed foster parents. The baskets will include essential items needed in a foster care home.
Adults and children are needed to help with organizing and packaging the materials.

Saturday
Freezer Meals
Team members will meet to prepare freezer meals for our Firestations and EMS personnel.
It is recommended that participating children be 8+ for this service project.

Saturday
Project Ignite Light
Team members will meet together to assemble hand-tied blankets to be sent to Project Ignite Light. Adults and children are needed to tie the blankets. Additional leaders will be needed to supervise the blanket tying to ensure blankets are assembled correctly.

Saturday
Police Car Detailing
We have the opportunity to serve our police department by detailing the police cars.
You will need to pass a background check to participate in this project.

Tuesday - Friday
Meals on Wheels
Adults are needed to help with packaging the meal and distributing it to those homebound in our community. Must be 18+ to drive.
Children will have the opportunity to decorate delivery bags and to ride along with parents to deliver the meals and visit with seniors.

Thursday
Dream Catchers Hospitality
The Dream Catchers is a group of over 70 children with disabilities that play sports together. Have fun serving food for team members, guests and athletes.
